Another day has passed and we still don’t know exactly when Apple will finally release the update to iOS 4.2 for their iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad devices. We have had various dates which have been rumored, but Apple still insists on keeping everyone waiting.
Yesterday we heard a tip from Apple Insider that iOS 4.2 will now be releasing on Friday 12th November, which matches up to those 9-12th predictions that we told you about at the start of the week.
Furthermore, they have been informed that the highly anticipated iTunes 10.1 update will be going live sometime today, 11th November, and that it will need to be installed in order to receive the update to iOS 4.2.
The good news however, is that you’ll be able to find out the exact moment both updates drop, by following Google’s handy Twitter updates page. This page will list all of the relevant terms for iOS 4.2 and iTunes 10.1, and it means you’ll get the download first as long as you keep your eyes peeled.
