Having already provided news of Intel’s Core Sandy Bridge processors and the many devices set to feature the hardware it seems now is the time to bring you news of their new chipset which they intend on unveiling at IDF Beijing this year.
News of devices containing their Oak Trail chips have only just began to surface and now the company is planning to show off their Cedar Trail CPUs. The event where this showcase will take place is set for April.
The news comes from an article by Chippy at UMPC Portal who noticed a session that is set for Intel at the IDF. Its title suggests the unveiling of new netbooks that will feature the Intel Atom processor.
Although details are rare at the moment the mention of fanless netbook designs and Wi-Fi based netbook usage models should be enough to make you want more details. More details can be found by clicking the link above.
In the meantime we’ll just have to wait until next month to get all the features. What do you think of these next gen CPUs so far? Let us know in the comments below.
