Insignia NS-SB515 2.1-Channel Soundbar specs and price

So you are on a budget and have bought yourself a non-Smart TV, but made it smarter with Chromecast, and now you want to make it sound better, but don’t want to pay those silly prices. This is where the Insignia NS-SB515 2.1-Channel Soundbar coms in because it is just about good enough to help improve the sound from your television, although don’t expect it to flood a large room with deep sound – as you will need to part with a lot more cash for that.

Even Insignia is very honest with the description with their product, saying that it is a 6.5″ subwoofer that manages to only produce low-end sound. However, this is still good enough to enhance the content you are viewing on your TV, and its low price means you won’t be thinking how can you pay so much for something that does not have so much to offer.

Insignia NS-SB515 review

Speaking of the Insignia NS-SB515 2.1-Channel Soundbar price, this is currently $199.99 in several places, which is not too bad, although we suspect you will be able to get it cheaper, you just have to look that bit harder.

The specs start off a little worrying with its 15W x 2 speakers and a 30w subwoofer, a total power output of 60w. However, when you consider that many TVs only offer a sound output of 10 watts, this will certainly enhance your sound while watching a good movie.

It also comes with Bluetooth, meaning you all be able to pair your mobile device with it, allowing you to listen to your music. There are three preset sounds, and these are standard, home theater and news. There’s not really much else to say about this soundbar, although you can download the PDF manual to learn some more.
