When looking for weird and wonderful gadgets the first place you need to look at is the Kickstarter website, as this is the perfect platform to get your product out there. We’re not saying that all of what you see in the website are great, but there are times when a real gem comes along.
For those of you who do not know a designer who has come up with what they feel will serve a purpose are then put on the Kickstarter website in the hope of raising enough funds in order for the product to go on sale.
In an ideal world there would be a Kickstarter tracker so you know if a certain invention has raised enough cash, but there are websites out there who allows you to find the Kickstarter products you can buy, one such website is Bite My Apple, which as you would imagine sells nothing but Apple accessories.
Some of you may wonder if it is worth all the hassle putting your idea on the Kickstarter website, but we’ll go over a few products from the website above to prove it is worth it. However, even more proof is the Ouya games console and Pebble that appeared on Kickstarter. The former had a goal of $950,000, but reached $8,596,474, while the latter needed to raise $100,000 and finished on $10,266,845 — makes me want to put my thinking cap on.
There’s a huge selection of Apple Kickstarter accessories already available to buy, with some of the best appearing above for your viewing enjoyment.
First up is Auris, which is a Bluetooth music receiver, allowing you to enjoy listening to your music wirelessly. This little device will connect automatically when in range, and the best part is that it costs just $49.99.
How many times have you tried to watch a movie or listen to music on your iPad, only to learn that the sound is not as good as rival tablets? Well the recent Amplifiear Kickstarter project managed to raise its needed funds, so now this small device that sits on the side of your iPad can be purchased for $34.99.
One of our favorites has to be the Vers 1Q, as this hand-crafted Bluetooth or Walnut speaker not only has a premium look but also has the sound to match as well. The size of the speaker is very small; in fact it can fit in the palm of your hand. However, the sound is nothing but small and neither is the price, as this will set you back $129.99.
The iPad Desktop Chair is the perfect stand to go with the speaker above, as it is also made from wood. Most stands on the market look pretty similar, but this will look elegant when placed on the corner of your desk at home or work. The $37.99 price tag is pretty reasonable when you consider some other iPad stands on the market.
With so many iPhone cases on the market it’s often a tough job finding the perfect one, but the recent RADIUS Kickstarter iPhone 5 case should be worth the consideration. This accessory is understated, but when placed on your iPhone 5 it looks truly amazing, as well as the fact of offering a decent amount of protection. However, the $69.99 price tag may put a few people off.
Finally we have the chrome Koala Mount, which is a perfect wall mount for your iPad when cooking up some new recipes. There’s not too much we can say about this item, apart from the fact that it keeps your iPad out of harms way in the kitchen, and the fact that it costs just $19.99.
All these items and more can be found on the Bite My Apple website.
