Injustice 2 vs. Mortal Kombat 10 for E3

It is starting to get very exciting in the build up to E3 2014. Aside from the massive E3 announcements from Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, we know that other developers will stage their own individual reveals as well.

One of these big unveils could be either Injustice 2 or Mortal Kombat 10, from fighting game specials NetherRealm Studios. We told you around two weeks ago that a countdown had begun, with MK co-creator Ed Boon teasing a game reveal which will happen on June 2 – right on the eve of E3.

What’s interesting though, is that there seems to be divided opinion on which title gamers want to see more. The exciting thing is that it is going to be NetherRealm’s first game for next-gen consoles – not including Injustice Gods Among Us on PS4 which was actually a port handled by a third-party developer.

The retro gamer inside us though is telling us that it should be Mortal Kombat 10 all day long. It is going to be a great occasion witnessing the first Mortal Kombat game to run on PS4 and Xbox One hardware and we’re very excited to see what NetherRealm Studios can do with the technology.

We’d also like to see them expand on the guest characters. Freddy Krueger in MK9 went down a treat so it would be very cool to see more of the same. Injustice 2 wouldn’t be a bad outcome of course, we just think that the platform is set for a massive MK10 reveal – what do you think?

Something is definitely coming from NetherRealm Studios next month – make your voices heard below on what you want it to be.
