Incase Snap Case for iPhone 4: No release date

We announced a few days ago that the Incase Snap Case for the iPhone 4 would be part of Apple’s custom case program. We then explained to you that the images that were available on the Incase website are just renders, we have now begun to wonder why there is a hold up.

Why is there not a release date yet when all the other models have already been released or are coming — although we have photos of those, which you can see in our detailed review of each of the cases that forms part of the iPhone 4 Case Program.

Without images or a release date this could have an affect on future sales, those who have already ordered their free case or bumper might have wanted a second case. However, delays were always going to happen.

The reason is because Apple never releases any details of a new product until a week or so before its official launch. This is a complete nightmare for accessory makers, as they have to draw up plans, make new tooling and then get up and running on machines in manufacturing plants.

Which of the six cases will you choose? See the entire range here.
