In Writing: Verizon’s HTC Thunderbolt Now Available

The situation surrounding the Verizon HTC Thunderbolt is still a strange one, we had the CFO of Verizon saying the handset will be available soon. The device has been pushed with advertizing on TV and in Verizon Wireless stores. But we still have not been given an official release date, but today we have a Verizon flyer saying the handset is available.

An article over at DroidLife by Kellex has some photos of some flyers which clearly show the HTC Thunderbolt being available. The flyers in question, which can be seen here, have been arriving at the homes of current Verizon Wireless customers.

By the look of the flyers Verizon must thought the handset would have been out by now, which is another mystery. We reported earlier that the Thunderbolt may not even be the first 4G LTE to arrive on Verizon’s network, as LG have just submitted an FCC file.

The whole Verizon and Thunderbolt saga has been met with some disappointment and frustration from some of our readers. Many want to have the handset but are getting fed up waiting for any release date.
