Improved iOS 7 social integration, OS X Mavericks inspiration

It’s been just over a week since the unveiling of iOS 7, and we’re still learning about Apple’s upcoming mobile OS, which will be released in the fall. And no doubt we will keep learning, as we only learned of a handful of the new iOS 7 features.

There are so many important features that will allow iOS 7 to grow and be the best version of iOS yet, and one such feature will be better social integration from third-party social networks. We say this because there is a report that there will be deep LinkedIn integration, as it has been seen in testing.

This improved iOS 7 social integration with LinkedIn is no stretch of the imagination, as the social network will also have some deep ties within OS X Mavericks, and so has taken inspiration from that idea. This is yet more proof that iOS 7 and the upcoming version of Mac OS X will have deeper ties with each other.

If what is being reported is true, then the single-sign-on system for LinkedIn on iOS 7 will be very similar to how Facebook and Twitter is integrated onto the current version of iOS, which as a result will make it far easier to post content onto LinkedIn.

While we cannot confirm this to be legitimate, it is very plausible for two reasons, one because of doing something very similar with Mavericks, and secondly because Apple realize just how important social media has become.

Having already seen what iOS 7 looks like on the iPhone 5, we had no idea just how well it would look on the iPad, as that beta version has yet to be released, although we do have an idea now. As you would imagine the reaction to the new look iOS 7 icons has met with some criticism, but it does not matter what Apple does, there are some people who will always complain. Although there are those of you who are completely happy with the new look, and if you are undecided where you stand with iOS 7, then check out what it looks like side-by side with the current version.
