IMDb Mobile App for Android, iPhone gains update

When not working there’s nothing better than watching a good movie, and there are some great ones coming out over the next few months, along with the big one coming out over the Holiday Season “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”. When you want to know all there is to know about a movie, such as who stars in it, to reviews, then the best source of information has to be IMDb.

While it’s pretty simple to visit the website on a larger device, it’s easier to use the IMDb Mobile App because everything is adapted for the smaller screen. The good thing is you can get this app on your Android and iOS device; allowing you to find showtimes, watch new trailers, and even rate a movie yourself.

The IMDb Mobile App for Android can be found on Google Play, giving you access to information on more than 2 million Movies and TV shows, along with details about over 4 million actors, actresses, celebrities and directors.

That’s not all, as the IMDb Mobile App for iPhone gains an update to version 3.3, which was made available on July 15. Some of the new features include the ability to purchase movie tickets, improved bios for celebrities, and you can also purchase these movies more easily thanks to searching Amazon Mobile via the IMDb app.

One of the best things about this update is how it will not crash while running iOS 7 beta 3, so you know that it now fully supports the next version of iOS once it is released in the fall.

The IMDb app has certainly been getting some very positive reviews, but this is to be expected when something like this just gets better and better, just wish other app developers followed suit.
