IFA 2013: LG V960 21:9 UltraWide All-In-One PC

Even though IFA 2013 is not due to be held until 6 September in Berlin, it does not mean some companies are not trying to get the jump on rivals, and so we are already seeing new devices launches ahead of the event. We know Samsung will be 2 days early with the launch of their Galaxy Note 3, but now we have seen the LG V960.

The new LG V960 is a 21.9-inch UltraWide All-In-One PC and will head up the range. This new addition to LG will help give them a better stance in the market, well that is the hope.

LG has also launched three new display monitors, the 29EA73, 29EB73 and 29MA73, all of which come with a 21.9 screen and IPS technology. This new range is said to help improve multitasking and also help enrich its entertainment capabilities.

It has been almost a year since LG released their 21:9 aspect ratio monitors, and in that time there has been a huge demand from consumers, and so it was evident that LG would wish to improve on this.

Because LG is already a market leader in the UltraWide segment, the release of the LG V960 UltraWide All-In-One PC will help to increase on their reputation in this market.

The LG V960 specs are not going to set any benchmark tests alight, but they are still reasonable. It comes with Windows 8, and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M GPU, but apart from that LG is keeping things close to their chest until the big unveil during IFA in a few days.

A 21.9-inch monitor is nothing to get excited about, although the quality of that monitor from LG is a different story, which is another reason why they have launched three new models. Full details of these can be found on the LG website.

Remember to head down to the LG stand at IFA 2013, which is in Hall 11.2.
