iCookbook: New Recipe App for iPad

A couple of weeks ago we brought you news on the recently released Martha Stewart Everyday Food Magazine recipe application for the Apple iPad. Now we have news of another new recipe app for the iPad called iCookbook, which is now available to download from the Apple App Store.

As recently noted over on the website, the iCookbook app is the very first in its class to inlcude a hands-free Voice Command feature, which enables users to speak simple commands so they can continue through the preparation process without having to touch the iPad’s screen.

The iCookbook iPad app comes with more than 2,000 different recipes and if that’s still not enough for you, the app enables you to download more free recipes every month. Users will also have the opportunity to download premium content, which will be available to purchase via an in-app store.

Many of the included recipes are from brand-name favorites such as Crock-Pot slow cooker, Hershey’s and Campbell’s. The app allows users to easily search a recipe by name, type of food, ingredients and even occasions such as spring and St. Patrick’s Day.

As noted over at, each recipe comes with ingredient listings, preparation steps and photos. The iCookbook app also enables users to share their recipes via email and Facebook. Will you be downloading this app for your iPad?
