Hyundai India to launch ix25 SUV test drives

The launch of the Hyundai ix25 compact SUV is all set to take place next month, and there is to be a number of pre-launch activities, one of which is to include early test-drives for the media. What this means is that we should get a few early ix25-based compact SUV reviews pretty soon.

These pre-launch activities will begin early next month, and is set to compete with the likes of the Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster, which are two of the most popular compact SUVs in India. However, some may say that the EcoSport is not a direct rival, and that the Mahindra Scorpio is, although we will leave that up to you to decide.

Hyundai ix25 SUV launch

Hyundai India has yet to announce what other pre-launch activities it has planned, although we presume they will share those details very soon to generate greater media attention.

Sales of this upcoming model look set to do very well in India, although will come second behind China, which is where most sales are expected to be.

As for the price, this is expected to be between INR 8-10 lakhs, ex-showroom. Apart from the debate as to its price, the big question is what will Hyundai India call this upcoming model. Thankfully, we only have to wait until early next month to find out.
