Hydrophilic H2O Shower Radio, For When You’re Singing In The Shower

If you tend to find yourself singing away to yourself in the shower and get complaints that the singing is terrible then we have news of a solution that will allow you to listen to your favorite tunes whilst in the shower without upsetting anyone. The H2O Shower Powered Radio.

Not only is this device waterproof and work in the shower, but more interestingly it’s powered from the showers water supply. The H2O uses a combination of rechargeable batteries and micro turbine that charges them. This technology combo is what makes it possible to enjoy music whilst in a wet environment without worrying about blowing the batteries when they’re wet.

As explained in the article by shinychris at TechDigest the gadget attaches directly to the water flow pipe so as the water flows to your showerhead it drives the turbine inside the device generating power so it can work.

This also makes the H2O extremely green as it uses energy that would otherwise be wasted in the shower. According to the source this radio is compatible with 99% of showers and will not affect the water pressure that flows through the shower hose. They are available now in Europe for £34.99.
