Husqvarna’s Automower 305 the Robotic Lawn Mower

For those who may not know, the Husqvarna Group is the largest outdoor product manufacturer in the world. They produce power tools like garden tractors, trimmers, chainsaws and lawnmowers. We have some news of their latest lawnmower, the robotic Automower 305.

The Automower 305 is designed for those with smaller gardens that don’t get the time to mow the lawn or are just too lazy to do it themselves. It moves at 35cm/s weighing about 7kg and is good for gardens that are up to 500m2. Once fully charged, this nifty little device can run for 40 minutes, taking about 2 and a half hours to charge.

The owner of the mower can adjust the range in which it operates with staples and wire to stop it cutting more than you want. You can have no worries about leaving the Automower 305 by itself as it has an anti-theft alarm and is pin coded so no one can steal it. At €1,490 Slashgear say this isn’t cheap; they also say it’s the only downside.

Gone are the days of neighbors complaining about noisy lawnmowers as Husqvarna say this robotic lawnmower has zero emissions, is silent moving and uses less energy than a light bulb so is sure to be appreciated ‘by all the neighbors’.

What do you think of this robotic Automower 305? Is this something you could do with getting? Let us know.
