Huawei takes aim at Apple iPhone Xs with battery life dig

It is officially iPhone XS and XS Max day for iPhone fanatics across the globe. Now we have a rather amusing story to share about how one iPhone competitor could help but take advantage of the current iPhone craze.

Rival smartphone maker Huawei took the opportunity to sieze the moment with a somewhat clever piece of marketing tactics, whilst taking a sly dig at Apple at the same time.

During the intense iPhone Xs and Xs Max queues over in Singapore, Huawei decided to hand out packages to those queuing, offering them a free power bank charger.

Included on the pack were the following guidelines: “You’ll need it. Courtesy of Huawei”

This is obviously a reference to the battery life problems that have plagued many iPhones down the years, while perhaps giving a nod to Huawei’s own P20 Pro flagship smartphone that comes packed with a whopping 4,000mAh battery capacity.

Do you think this is fair game or a little cheeky by Huawei to directly target Apple fans in this way?
