There has been a great deal of talk in regards to the new Huawei Mate 8, and it has finally been revealed, although only for the Chinese market for now. However, we suspect that the Huawei Mate 8 price and its release date (hopefully worldwide) will be revealed at CES in January 2016.
We only know the basics, and so we will have to wait the couple of months for the full Huawei Mate 8 specs to be revealed to us. There is to be a fingerprint scanner, and also a camera with a dual-tone LED flash, although we do not have any idea as to its number of megapixels.
Its design is very similar to previous Huawei smartphones, although we can tell you that its 6-inch screen will be Full HD and is covered with 2.5D curved diamond-cut glass.
However, what excites us is the fact that it will be powered by the Kirin 950 processor, which is the newest chip out there, and said to be on-par with the amsung Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 chips.
It’s going to be a speed demon, as the quad-core A72 2.3GHz processor is mated to a 4 x A53 1.8GHz processor, which will give the Mate 8 awesome performance.
This is such a huge tease for us, and we really do hope that Huawei announces an international release for its Mate 8 – well, we can hope.
