Huawei Mate 10 specs expectations with new CPU

We do not even have the full Huawei Mate 9 specs, features or release date and price yet, and so you may think we are being a little presumption discussing the Huawei Mate 10. We do have good reason, which we will now explain why.

In the past Huawei has made use of the ARM Cortex CPU, such as the A72 in the Mate 8, and while we know that they have decided to opt for their own Kirin 960 chip in the Mate 9, we do not know for certain if they will stick with their new-branded chipset.

The Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be released later this year, and with the ARM Cortex A73 CPU core not due for release until 2017, maybe Huawei were not happy with using the A72 once again, seeing as though this is the same chip in their current model.

Huawei Mate 10 CPU

The ARM Cortex A73 CPU core is designed to work with premium SoC mobile devices in 2017 and will have a top clock-speed of 2.8GHz, which is 30 percent higher than the current model.

It’s also being reported that the A73 will be able to further reduce heat, as it’s so important in able to do so in order to sustain activity without the fear of overheating.

While we do not know too much about this CPU, we do know that it’s highly likely to use the ARM Mali G71 GPU because of its performance benefits.
