We have a quick heads-up for those that are interested in buying the HTC Vive VR headset in the UK. It’s not particularly good news though as HTC has revealed that the Vive costs are going to be extremely expensive.
To get the bad news out of the way first, the HTC Vive price in the UK is going to cost £689 and it will be available starting April 5.
Three games will be available with the hardware and these are Tilt Brush, Job Simulator and Fantastic Contraption.
It’s important to make note of the fact that the £689 does not represent the final price either. After shipping and tax, the grand total comes to £746.60 making this a very expensive entry into virtual reality.
Is that price a big turn off to you, or will you jump on board straight away and try to pre-order the HTC Vive online now in time for April 5?
Let us know your thoughts on the pricing and your general opinions on the price of virtual reality gaming.
