HTC One vs. Galaxy S4 Zoom, Mega 6.3 in knife test

Just a couple of hours ago we noticed three new knife test videos land on YouTube, which take a look at HTC One vs. Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy Mega 6.3. These three separate hands-on tests will give you an idea of how well each device handles damage from pointed objects and the screen sensitivity from a knife touch.

It might be true that you will not be putting a knife to your Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, Mega 6.3 or HTC One anytime soon but you could have these phones next to keys or other sharp objects. This isn’t the main aim of this test, it is more about screen sensitivity, but it is good to see how well these screens handle knocks from pointed objects.

The first video below features a great camera phone with a big zoom, and this is obviously the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom pictured next to a knife in the screenshot above. The knife screen test lasts for just over 3 minutes, which is pretty much the same length as all three videos.

You will see the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 in the second video and HTC One in the last, so take a look below to see how each smartphone handles the knife along with a look at the sensitivity of each screen. The game being used in this test is Fruit Ninja.

From all three smartphones it was the HTC One that performed worst in terms of screen sensitivity, but we will let our readers debate if that’s a good or bad thing.
