We’ve been hearing about the HTC One Mini for some time now, and it’s not like it was any shock, considering HTC seems to be following the same formula as Samsung, in order to help turn the company’s fortunes around. The full size version of the HTC One has given the Galaxy S4 a run for its money, and while some of the specs may not be on par, the build quality certainly is, and even exceeds it, so it will be interesting to see just what we can expect to see from the smaller version.
Having already seen a HTC One Mini photo several days ago, a couple of new photos have become available, and one of them is a screenshot giving details of those all-important HTC One Mini specs. If this is the real deal then we can take it as conformation that the smaller HTC One will sport a 1.4GHz CPU of the Snapdragon 400 variety, along with 1GB of RAM, 720P display and a 4-ultrapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing one.
HTC One Mini vs. Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini — So let’s compare those above specs to the S4 Mini to see which of the two has the upper hand. It to will have the same processor, although its clock speed is 1,7GHz, 1.5GB or RAM is also an improvement, and also 8 and 1.9-megapixel cameras seals the deal for Samsung, as on paper it seems to be the better mini smartphone of the two.
However, we know that it is always more than just specs alone, and while the HTC One Mini does seem to be on its back foot in terms of specs when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, the build quality and the overall look of the latter should be more than enough to allow it to hold its own against the latter, but would you agree?
