We have some good news for those of you planning to pick up the recently announced HTC Legend handset now, as the phone has just passed FCC testing, meaning that a release is just around the corner.

As reported from WirelessGoodness, the Legend went through FCC testing, identified only as the ‘HTC PB76100’, but the handset has now been confirmed as the Legend.

There are a few close up pictures in the link above for you to take a look at, mainly the slide-out battery/sim card cover which also conceals the MicroSD slot located above the battery.

We’ll let you know once we have solid release details, let us know if you’ll be picking up the phone or if you are waiting for something better.
