HTC EVO 4G: 30fps video output limit

For those HTC EVO 4G owners who wish to have more than the current 30fps video output, we have to inform you that this is its limit. There were hopes of a chance to increase this output, but AndroidGuys reports that this condition is a terminal one.

AndroidGuys reports that it is an issue with the hardware, which they say is an infrequently used HDMI port.

Chris Ziegler from Engadget has been looking into this and it seems that HTC is unable to create any software to increase on this. However, owners should not fear as we know how clever some of these developers can be — we have seen time-and-time again how resourceful they can be.

For now HTC EVO 4G customers will have to put up with that 30fps video output limit — although it is still better than most other phones on the market. HTC will fear that owners will want more than this and could decide to upgrade to a new phone once one as good and the EVO becomes available. Keeping with the HTC EVO 4G, we recently reported that “Sprint Users Finally Get Qik Fix“.
