HTC EVO 3D: Rough Release Date Leaked Early

It has been a while since we last heard any solid news regarding release information for the highly sought after HTC EVO 3D handset on Sprint, but we’re pleased to say we have something for you which can only be described as rather juicy.

A leaked memo has apparently got out from retailers RadioShack who are going to be one of the sources where you’ll be able to pick up the dual 3D camera handset when it releases. According to the memo, the HTC EVO 3D handset will be out on June 4th, as reported from Phandroid.

However, the memo also reveals that this date is a ‘rough launch date’, so it could still be subject to change. Either way though, it’s the first time we’ve had any sort of solid release date, so you should be happy that the handset is now moving closer towards a release.

Just to refresh your minds briefly, the EVO 3D packs a 4.3-inch 3D LCD screen, two rear 5MP Cameras, a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the super sexy Sense 3.0 UI as well.

Will you be getting this handset at the start of June if this date is correct? It’s probably going to be one of the best phones of 2011, and definitely Sprint’s best smartphone to date. Give us your thoughts on the upcoming 3D powerhouse.
