HTC Desire: Vodafone UK Android 2.2 Froyo Update – Have You Got Yours?

Good news for Vodafone customers with the HTC Desire handset now, as the network have started to roll out the OS upgrade as promised.

Vodafone become one of the first European mobile phone carriers to start releasing the software after HTC also started rolling out the update earlier this month to unlocked mobile devices.

The update is scheduled to come OTA (over-the-air) to its users, but is thought to take up to two weeks before all customers receive the latest instalment from Google.

This should definitely be welcome news to all Vodafone UK customers, especially since the carrier released an update that was thought to be Android 2.2 Froyo earlier this month.

Users have already downloaded and installed the update, saying that they have noticed a significant speed increase, minus all the Vodafone applications that they didn’t want nor need in the first place.

Have you got yours yet?
