HTC Desire HD Video: EVO 4G and HD2 features

We recently reported that the HTC Desire had been spotted, and the early shots showed how similar it is to the EVO 4G. There is now a video available, which you can see below and there are a few features that it will share with the EVO along with the HD2 as well.

So we already know some of the mains specs, 8-megapixel camera with front-facing camera, 720p HD video recording, and that 4.3-inch screen that makes the handset almost a dead-ringer to the HTC EVO 4G — not that that’s a bad thing.

Apart from those few features as well as the dual LED that also comes on Sprint’s flagship model, it is just another Google Android handset to add to the ever-growing list. We just wonder why consumers will want to choose the HTC Desire HD over those other models?

As yet there are no details on price or a release date, hopefully we will know something very soon. Maybe HTC is waiting until Motorola has released the upcoming Droid 2, which should be some time this week. Video from 247android via Engadget.
