HTC Confirm ‘Portfolio’ of Windows Phone 7 Handsets

Over the last year HTC seem to have been concentrating on releasing Android-based handsets, however they have recently announced that they plan to release a ‘portfolio’ of Windows Phone 7 handsets.

The announcement didn’t go into any details, therefore device names, specifications, pricing and release dates are still a mystery.

HTC’s CTO stated that “Windows Phone 7 Series is a significant milestone for Microsoft” and added “HTC is working closely with Microsoft to bring the unique HTC experience that customers love,”

No doubt these new Windows Phone 7 based handsets will be desirable to many, the big task for Microsoft is to make these more desirable than Android-based HTC handsets.
