For years now HP has been struggling with its image — so it comes as no surprise that they are now working on a makeover. Hewlett Packard are about to start a new advertising campaign but know that they need something special — enter Dr. Dre and Rhys Darby.
HP is mostly known for it printers — and there lies the problem. The company has a number of products that we do not even know about; this even included a cell phone. The ad campaign will last for eight weeks; in that time the company hopes to have a much better image.
HP will need rapper and producer Dr. Dre and stand-up comedian Rhys Darby to pull out all the stops in the build-up to the release of the HP Windows 7 tablet PC. The ad campaign is called “Lets Do Amazing.” And starts today on the Internet, TV, radio and print. For more details visit WSJ.
