HP Pavilion dm4-1165dx: Specs and Reviews

When buying a laptop today it can be hard to differentiate between all of the different models, therefore we thought we would pull together all of the relevant HP Pavilion dm4-1165dx information we could find to help you decide whether this is the correct model for you.

At the time of this post Best Buy were selling this model for $699.99 (here), for your money you get a 14-inch LED HD display supporting a resolution of 1366 x 768, an Intel Core i5 (2.4GHz) processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB SATA hard drive, a dual-layer DVD writer, Intel HD graphics, a built-in webcam, cardreader, Ethernet port, WiFi a/b/g/n, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, a 6-cell lithium-ion battery, HDMI-out and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, you can see more specs here.

There are a two features which help differentiate this model from cheaper alternatives, these are its embedded 4G WiMAX connectivity (requires a carrier) and its Intel Wireless Display support (requires adapter), both of these technologies should help increase the laptop’s appeal.

If you check out PCMag you can find out a little bit more about this laptop, they gave it a very good editor score of 4/5, they were impressed with its performance and scores in benchmark tests, in fact the only thing they weren’t to keen on was its touchpad.
