HP Pavilion 17-f113dx review for 17.3-inch laptop

We thought we would have a little review of the specs and overall design and features of the HP Pavilion 17-f113dx, so you can see if this is the laptop for you. There are not too many retailers selling this model now, and so you will need to do a bit of searching in order to find one, although we do know Best Buy still stock them.

This HP Pavilion 17.3″ Laptop is one focused on media, which is evident with the size of its HD+ display and BrightView technology because it helps to bring the visuals to life. Then there is its 750GB hard drive, which is more than enough space to save your work, music, photos, videos and more. So what else is hiding under its hood?

First and foremost there is the processor, which is the 4th Gen Intel Core i5-4210U CPU with a clock speed of 1.7GHz. However, like a car there is more power when needed thanks to Turbo Boost, which ramps that speed up to 2.7GHz. Don’t try to play graphic intensive games, as the Intel HD graphics will struggle to to keep up, as will the 4GB of DDR3L SDRAM. However, it is perfect for multitasking.

Some of the other features, such as connections are as follows: 2 USB 3.0 ports and 1 USB 2.0, as well as RJ-45 connector, built-in 1×1 high-speed wireless LAN and much more, all of which can be seen below.

While the design of this HP Pavilion might not be as premium as a MacBook Pro, its Natural Silver/Ash Silver finish is still better than a lot of the competition out there. We invite you to leave your comments below as to whether you might consider this laptop, or if you already have one, then what are your thoughts?
