HP Officejet Pro 6835 review with AIO Printer specs

The HP Officejet Pro 6835 and 6830 are both extremely similar AIO printer models, and today we have a review along with unboxing for the latter model. Also, the full specs for HP’s Officejet Pro 6835 can be seen below with a closer look at the design found on both printers.

This all-in-one Inkjet printer has some great features for home and office, which include automatic document feeding and two sided printing. Most of the latest printers feature direct printing from mobile devices, and the HP Officejet Pro 6835 and 6830 also offer this feature for iOS/Android devices.

If you want to print directly from USB drives, then this is easily done thanks to a USB port on the front of the Officejet Pro 6835/6830. You can see a close up of where this port is located below along with the model branding.

Using the printer couldn’t be easier thanks to a color touch screen, which is also located on the front and used to control many of the features. The review video below this article takes a closer look at this LCD display.

You can see the main HP Officejet Pro 6835 AIO printer specs within the list below. These include details on how many pages can be printed per minute, how long before the first page prints in color or black and white, scan resolution, and other details.

It’s worth noting that this printer benefits from HP Instant Ink, which can help you save up to 50 percent on ink costs. The Instant Ink plans come in different monthly options that can be canceled at anytime.

Amazon price this printer at $199.99 at the time of writing, although Costco is selling with $55 off from now until Cyber Monday that’s on December 1, 2014. Take a look at the unboxing below, or see the official page for drivers and the printers user guide.

Stay away. I purchased a HP 6835 at Best Buy in TX. It worked well. Went to Minnesota on vacation and bought a HP 6830 from Costco. Back in TX, my printer went belly-up (printer head error). HP sent me a refurbished unit, no charge. That one worked for about 6-7 months and again had a printer head problem. The refurbished unit was past the warranty. I called tech service and they said that my computer has a virus which caused the printer head to error. She tried to sell me an updated anti-virus program for $300 +. I was… Read more »

HP 6835 product sucks – I have a print head error – my warranty expired in Nov 2015, it’s Feb 4, 2016. Online documented support recommends replacement. Now I have extra unused cartridges…because I do not want to get another HP printer.

I have just thrown away my HP 6835 after having it for about 5 months. I installed my first one in January 2015 and after about 4 months of fighting constant error messages about paper jams when there weren’t any, I called HP and they replace the printer with a refurbished one. The printhead went out in that one in about 5 months. DONE DEALING WITH HP. Just bought an Epson for the first time and hope I am happy with it.

Actually the video is quite good, though it doesn’t highlight the control panel ease of use.

I agree with the other comment that this is one of the most uninformative reviews I’ve read and it has been a waste of time.

This has to be one of the most uninformative reviews on any device and reading it has been a waste of time. Your “review” does nothing more than parrot the same information produced by marketing. Useless…
