HP Elite L2201x Monitor: Specs, Price and Release

Just yesterday we announced that HP had just introduced three new products to its business rage, including the EliteBook 2760p tablet PC and the ProBook 5330m and EliteBook 2560p laptops. Now we have news of yet another product the company has just unveiled, only this time it’s a monitor.

Besides the tablet and the laptop announcements, the company also introduced the new Elite L2201x business monitor, featuring an ultra-slim design and a 22-inch LED-backlit display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080. As Christopher Trout at notes, the Elite L2201x measures in at just 0.4-inches thick.

The L2201x’s modern, ultra-slim design makes it the ideal monitor for those of you that don’t have a lot of desk space. It also features a 16:9 wide screen that enables both multitasking and productivity, by expanding the viewable area to enable more applications accessible at once.

Other specs include a 5000:1 contrast ratio, a 250cd/m2 brightness, a 16ms response time and a single DisplayPort. It also comes with 178 degree vertical / horizontal viewing angles. The HP Elite L2201x monitor will be available in the US as from June 1st, with a price tag of $250.
