HP Chromebook 11 price appeals to schools

The choice of Chromebooks shows no sign of slowing down, and it seems the public feels more at ease choosing budget-friendly versions rather than the more expensive Chromebook Pixel. The new HP Chromebook 11 is a fine example of this, and some of the much-needed improvements and its price make it a viable option for schools.

The HP Chromebook 11 price is rather impressive because it is just $280, which is thanks to it not being like most laptops on the market. Okay, so we know there are huge limitations with this device, but that is the market it is aimed at, so it is not an issue for most buyers.

If you do most of your work or entertainment online, then the video review below says the Chromebook 11 is perfect. Bridget Carey says that the new design is sleek and the choice of colors makes this a great feature.

We get to learn how the screen is brighter than most laptops, and the speakers being underneath the keyboard is a great design feature. However, one of the more impressive features is the ability to charge the Chromebook 11 via a micro USB port, which means the laptop charger can charge some of your other devices.

It is clear to see the price is something Google has considered a lot because they will push the HP Chromebook 11 laptop for schools. In order to cater for schools the laptop needs to be more than cheap, as it needs to perform web browsing and web-related apps very well. The Chromebook 11 can open more than a couple of dozen browser tabs while editing documents, and will not show any signs of slowing down.

Okay, so we know the HP Chromebook 11 is not for everyone and has its limitations, but with its cheap price and decent build quality, this is certainly something you should consider if you are looking for a second laptop, or something your children can do their homework on.
