We have some details on a new HP budget laptop for 2017 to bring you now, as shoppers look to get themselves a new computer with good functionality at a fraction of the price compared to high-end laptops from rivals.
Now we are taking a look at the HP 15-BA015WM 15.6-inch Laptop which comes with key specs such as an AMD E2-7110 quad core processor, 4GB of RAM, a 500GB Hard Drive, DVD player, and Windows 10 operating system.
This laptop is sold exclusively by Walmart and will be available for as low as $199 during the Holiday season. We can give you a few extra details on this model now, as we notice that information on Walmart’s website listing is incredibly brief and in some cases incorrect too.
For those that are wondering if the HP 15-BA015WM laptop is suitable for gaming, it comes with an Radeon R2 dedicated graphics card. However, this card is outdated by today’s standards and you shouldn’t expect to be able to play the latest releases on high settings – full specs of this graphics card here.
The R2 Radeon will manage to play some games on low settings only and you can check which ones over at the HP 15-BA015WM benchmarks here thanks to Notebook Check.
Other HP 15-BA015WM specs include an HD display with a 1366 x 768 resolution, Bluetooth 4.0, SD card reader, HD webcam, HDMI out port, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, DTS Studio sound and a one year trial of Office 365 as well for those that are buying it with work in mind.
Unfortunately, the rest of this laptop is a mystery and there are no HP 15-BA015WM laptop reviews online at the time of writing. If you just need a laptop for casual browsing and minimal work tasks, this laptop is a nice option at $199. Otherwise, gamers may want to look for a better model as 4GB and a Radeon R2 is not going to offer much.
