Amazon Prime is one of the best services right now if you are a regular online shopper and often have to pay delivery charges that you are not happy with.
With exclusive discounts and next-day delivery, it’s hard to argue with the overall package that Amazon Prime offers.
However when you want to stop using Amazon Prime, finding out how to cancel your Amazon Prime membership in the US and UK may not be as straightforward to some.
To do it though, you need to go to your Prime membership settings which you will find in the ‘Your Account’ menu. From there, go to ‘Manage your Prime Membership’ and you will be able to find a button that says ‘End Membership’.
You can only do this when your subscription is about to or has ended from the date in which you signed up.
The main problem though that catches out thousands of users is that if you don’t cancel your Amazon Prime one month trial, you will automatically be charged £7.99 to renew if you don’t physically take action.
We have even seen cases where if you don’t stop a £7.99 month’s membership, you will automatically be billed £79 for a full year subscription which has proved to be one of the frequent mistakes that consumers make.
Are you part of the group who has been charged by Amazon for Prime membership when you didn’t want to?
At least now you know how to stop your Amazon Prime membership from recurring automatically so it doesn’t happen in future.
