While we await a new set of figures to see how much the Honda Airbag model list recall has expended in the US, we have not heard much in terms of international recalls, although some news has now started to spread. We recently learned of a new Honda airbag recall in India, with affected models consisting of the Brio, Amaze, and CR-V.
The recall of 2,338 units was announced yesterday, and so we are sorry for the late report, but we just wanted to keep on top of this ongoing issue. With this news we have to wonder how long it will be before a Honda airbag recall will be announced in the UK, as surely it cannot be too long now?
According to the report, Honda India has said it is to contact owners with affected models so they can bring their vehicles in for a free repair. It is not a long job, as it only requires the dealer to replace the airbag inflator with the correct part.
We have to wonder how long it will be before we see airbag recalls in India from other carmakers, such as Toyota, Ford, BMW, Mazda, Nissan and others?
How bad do you think this recall will get before things get better?
