Holding out for Verizon Nexus One: Dropbox is calling you

Those of you who are looking for a reason to purchase a Verizon Nexus One over the new iPhone, then we need to inform you that Dropbox will now be available on Android. This is a great new addition to Android and works just like Mac uses Dropbox to share files between computers.

Dropbox has been available for the iPhone and Windows phones for sometime now, so it was a basic part of evolution that the software was made available to the ever-popular Android OS. For those who do not know, Dropbox is a cloud-based file-sync app — offering 2GB for free, you will have to pay for any extra.

If that 2GB storage is not enough for you, then just $10 a month gives you an extra 50GB. The app allows you to access your files from any Android device and web browser of your choice. ZDNet points out that Google’s storage solution is a little cheaper but it is not as slick as Dropbox.
