Believe it or not, there are still people out there that much prefer to have a TV/DVD combo, as this not only helps to save space, but also money. Ok, so you might think it is silly to have a Full HD TV, yet only able to play DVD movies, and so in most cases not support 720p or 1080p.
These sort of Televisions are very popular to put in a child’s bedroom, and more often than not a 40-inch model is preferred, especially if a child has to share the room with a sibling, and so need to be able to see it. If you live in UK, then you might be seeing a certain retailer highlighting a Hitachi 40-inch Full HD LED TV/DVD Combi, and the only model that we can see on sale is the 40HBD06U.
While the Argos website does not list the model number, a little bit of digging on the Argos support website shows that the 40HBD06U model number coincides with its 444/7889 product code.
Knowing that this is likely to be the Hitachi TV model that us currently at a discounted rate on Argos, we thought we would go over the 40HBD06U specs, although they are nothing that special.
The 40-inch screen has a Full HD, LED 1080p display resolution, an 8ms response time, 50Hz motion rate, built-in DVD player, Freeview digital tuner, just a single-core processor, 2 x 8 watt RMS power output, a USB port, 2 HDMI inputs and a Scart connection.
