If someone was to ask you what 7-inch tablet would be at the top of your list, we bet your answer would be the Nexus 7. This is the most obvious choice because it is such a good tablet and also has a very attractive price and comes with a naked version of Android.

However, some of you might not be able to stretch to that kind of budget and so will need something a little cheaper without sacrificing on specs. This is where the Hisense Sero Pro 7-inch tablet comes in because looking at the specs; they are still rather impressive, which we’ll get to in a moment.

If you have never heard of this tablet, then you will be surprised when watching the video because it is very reminiscent of the Nexus 7, down to the packaging, and some of its specs.

Hisense Sero Pro 7-inch tablet specs — The main specs for this Nexus 7 wannabe include a 7-inch display with 1280 x 800 resolution, 1.3GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Other features included are mini HDMI and a USB port, up to 10 hours of battery life, NFC and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out the box.
At first glance you could mistake this for a Nexus 7, but its cheaper price of $149 from Sunday that lasts a week, well it’s going to be a tough choice as to which of the two to choose.
