Hexius iPhone App: Addictive action-puzzler free this weekend

A great action-puzzle game is being made available free for this weekend only in celebration of 500,000 games being played. Hexius is a psychedelic action-puzzler with three different fun game modes.

Developed by Phasic Labs Ltd the game has weekly score challenges, achievements, global and friend’s scores, regular updates, and much more. There is an online community which users can log into for free using Openfeint.

Time Attack Mode gets you matching hexagons as quickly as you can before time runs out. Level Challenge Mode users collect all the targets before moving on to the next harder level. Strategy mode players try to score as highly as they can in 30 moves.

Phasic labs were founded by Paul Ripley who has worked on such titles as Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Wipeout HD, and numerous PlayStaion 1 and 2 titles.

Hexius 1.3 is available free for a limited time on the App Store. iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad required with OS 3.1 or later.
