The Heroes of Might and Magic 3 series of games were from 2009, and so some of you might not remember them, although the last one was in 2011. However, thanks to mobile gaming, old titles like these have a habit of being reimagined for Android and iOS, and this is what is going to happen once again.
We know the series goes back much further than 2011, although Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is from way back in 1999, so it will be interesting to see what sort of modern spin Ubisoft will put on it.
The release date is set for the 15th of January 2015 and Ubisoft has confirmed it will not be a straight port, which was rather obvious seeing as tough the graphics would not be up to today’s standards, even if it is for mobile devices.
We do expect the gameplay to remain pretty much the same, which is a turn-based game where the user takes control of a few heroes, each of which takes command of a small army.
You then have to negotiate the map you are currently on and then progress to defeat enemies in your path. We really do hope this remake converts well over to mobile devices, and with just over a month to go it will be interesting to know what the reviews will be like, and if fans of the series will enjoy it or not.
