Help kids learn World Flags with iOS apps

There are so many nations with many different flags, some change over time due to wars and political backgrounds. There are many that are distinctive, yet because of similar colors, it is easy to get flags mixed up. Children learn quick when it comes to identifying colors and adults sometimes display their own flag with pride as a true patriot. The World Cup usually consists of 32 countries with their flags flying, as fans show their support. We thought it would be a good idea to show you some fun applications that can help children identify world flags.

This application will help you match up the flags of countries from all around the world. Each game has four rounds. The first round lets you match the country flags and learn the country names and capitals. The second round you match the flags to the names of the countries. With three difficulty levels and a head-to-head game for two, this app is a great educational app.

Flags Fun – World by Lima Sky is available at the App Store for $0.99. Using this app, you will be able to test your knowledge and your memory skill. There are two fun and educational games in one app. Flags Guess tests you by indicating a flag of a country that you are asked to identify. Flags Match gets you to match flags of different countries and learn what country they belong to as a matching card game. There are over 170 different flags with more soon for you to match up.

Flags of the World’s Nations and States by Darren Gates is $0.99 and accessible at the App Store. With a more extensive range of flags, the total number is nearly 2700. This application also includes historical and sports flags as well as flags of US states. Use an advanced search for all flags. The search engine returns the top 150 flags. If you need a more finely tuned search, simply add more terms into the search field. Add or edit more flags mark your favorites and shake your mobile device for a random flag. An ideal app for children, students, teachers and world travelers.

FLAGS OF ALL NATIONS by ozzywow is available at the App Store for $0.99. This is a great fun app for kids to learn their flags of all nations playing a quiz game. You can learn the name of a nation and capital with help from pictures while playing. This method of learning flags is a fun way to keep them captivated and educate them while they are having fun.

Have fun learning about the different colored flags from around the globe. You can learn so many different things about flags and their corresponding countries and capitals. You might normally get the red, white and blue colored flags mixed up with different countries, as they are the most common colors. With apps, you will have the answer readily available.
