Hearthstone Curse of Naxxramas will have gold cards

While gamers patiently wait for Blizzard to announce the Hearthstone Curse of Naxxramas release date, we have some good news to keep you going. We have discovered that aside from the 30 new cards available in the expansion, you will also be able to get your hands on gold versions of the new cards.

Right now you can get gold versions of standard Hearthstone cards if you are lucky and they look lovely sitting next to a deck of normal cards. Those luxurious players out there now have the chance to get gold Curse of Naxxramas cards.

Community Manager Aratil has confirmed it as fact in the following forum post here – search to the bottom of the page to see the confirmation.

Meanwhile, we know that all of you were also expecting to know the official price of Curse of Naxxramas on July 1. Unfortunately though, this information has been delayed and will instead be announced at a later date. Another statement from the Community Manager handles the pricing aspect below.

“However, it turns out we’re actually not going to be quite ready to announce Naxxramas pricing on July 1st as I previously mentioned we do still want to announce more Naxxramas information soon, but I’m afraid it won’t happen on July 1st. We’ll get the details to you as soon as we have finalized information to share.”

The good news is that the expansion is still on for a July release, so there is no delay there. It shouldn’t be long until more news is revealed so stay tuned.

Give us your reaction to the fact that golden Curse of Naxxramas cards will be available – will you try to collect them all now, no matter the cost?
