Headache over iPhone 5 rumors

Now that the new MacBook Air has finally been released we now have to expect all those iPhone 5 rumors to begin once again — not that they stopped in the first place. However, these will now step up a gear, and for some this will become a headache. We seem to already know so much about this elusive device, that we cannot see Apple surprising us in any way — much like the MBR in that respect.

If it would have been any other year then the new iPhone would have been released by now, but this delay only means yet more rumors to add to the mix. Every conceivable possibility has been discussed, from its design, processor, display and even carrier choice. We have been hoping for that one little gem that will turn some of the other rumors on its head, but we have yet to see one.

You have to feel sorry for Steve Jobs in one way because we cannot see him getting any cheers this year — although there was no surprise last year due to the iPhone 4 being outed early. If Jobs said to us that this is only a minor update, then we would already know that, as we will if he says this is a major upgrade. The only way where Apple will be able to surprise us is by throwing us a curveball, and that would be 4G LTE support and NFC.

We know that these have been rumored before, but were since squashed, so just imagine if Apple announced that both these features were coming? OK, so we know that this is a bit of a long shot, but you can see just how limited Apple is. I can think of one thing that they could surprise us with, and that is to say that there will be no new iPhone this year.

Having to report these endless rumors does become a little tiresome, but they have to be reported. Now some people will take all of these in with excitement, while others will have the urge to throw something at the screen — something that we will apologize for now. However, we are not the only ones, and this is the way that the Internet works.

The worst thing about these rumors are the contradictions, as one week you are told one thing, then another it goes back on what was reported and changed for something else. The worst offenders are its design, name and the release date itself. We feel that we have to apologize in advance, because there will be more.
