The Puerto Rico Beverage Inc. of Maunabo was just one company who rushed into the popular hand sanitizer market following the recent scares of Swine Flu.
Safety officials who visited the plant had found a number of problems with the manufacturing practices, the FDA are still trying to locate the whereabouts of company executives. The plant used to manufacturer juice, and it seems that the same containers were used to make the hand sanitizers, which is a serious problem.
