Halo 5 or Xbox One Gears of War announcement today?

Today is an exciting day for gamers because Phil Spencer has promised a new game announcement, and while he does not offer any clue as to what game it will be, yesterday’s Tweet has gained a huge reaction. He did say that the news will go out in the morning, and so we only have a few more hours to wait.

New Xbox One game announcement — Spencer has kept his cards close to his chest, but this has not stopped gamers drawing their own conclusions as to the title of the game. There seems to be a growing consensus that it could be out of two games, Halo 5 or a next-gen version of Gears of War.

The latter does seem more plausible because there was a tweet not so long ago from Microsoft, although this could be just the curveball they want us to look at?

However, there are a few other titles that Xbox fans would like to see released on the Xbox One, such as Crimson Skies 2, Crackdown 3, or even the next Call of Duty title. However, it is more than likely an exclusive.

Whatever the new Xbox One game will be let us hope that it will be 1080p, as so many of its games have been unable to achieve this, with Thief yet another title to add to the growing list.

It’s an announcement from the first party developer who made Crackdown 2. Either they’re trying their hand at a new IP, or it’s an Xbox one exclusive “Crackdown” title.
