The recipes have been adapted so users can easily prepare and cook the dishes that include sweet, savory, and jams. Pumpkin is a low calorie food that only has 21 calories per 100g with a variety of vitamins and minerals. Again this can be found on the App Store for only $0.99/£0.69.

An application that contains over 170,000 recipes is BigOven for iDevices, which contains recipes for many occasions including Halloween. Users can even get ideas what to do with any leftovers, and items can even be checked off a grocery list. Recipes can be viewed offline and the free application is available worldwide on the App Store.

Now the food is sorted Pocket Cocktails + Halloween will get you into the spirit of the occasion. The application has recently been updated and features over 500 popular cocktails and is available on the App Store for $0.99/£0.69. For owners of the iPad there is a HD version that has over 600 food and cocktail recipes, and again can be downloaded via the App Store for $0.99/£0.69.

Finally for our friends in Germany is Happy Halloween Recipes that contains a variety of recipes to celebrate Halloween. Be it freaky meatball spiders or delicious squash recipes there are plenty to try. All the recipes have been created by expert chefs, and recipes can be chosen by category.
