GTA V Video Editor for PS4, Xbox One confirmed

If you are a console owner of GTA V and have grown jealous of watching beautiful videos that have been created using the Rockstar Editor, we have some great news for you.

Rockstar has just confirmed this week that they have plans to released a toned-down version of the video editor for PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

The developer admitted that the video editor in its entirety is not compatible with consoles at the moment, but they will be working on a solution to ensure that a GTA V video editor for PS4 and Xbox One is still possible in some form.

The confirmation was made in a Newswire update this week, where the developer also revealed that players are still free to create as many single-player mods as they desire – without the fear of getting banned.

There’s no set date for when the console video editor will be available, but Rockstar has given players an initial heads-up on a Summer release timeline – follow that at your peril though given how long Heists took to come out on console.

Are you a GTA V photographer at heart? Let us know if this is great news for you personally and the type of videos that you would love to start making.
