GTA V review of funfair and roller coaster

The very idea of being able to ride a roller coaster in Grand Theft Auto V started from the first trailers, which teased a funfair for the next game months before it met a release date. This week we have been hands-on with GTA V in our review spread over a number of posts, focusing on different topics, and today we wanted to feature a few screenshots showing the funfair and its rides.

From what we can tell there is very little you can ride on, but they are still well worth giving a ride. You will be able to ride a roller coaster and the Ferris Whale (Big Wheel).

You can see these rides in the screenshots on this page, although you should note they cost a few dollars each and every time you take a ride. There is another ride that goes up and down, but this has a sign on it stating “temporarily unavailable”.

We are not aware of any other rides at the GTA V funfair, or if the one ride that is unavailable can be activated with certain cheats or missions. Feel free to leave a comment if you know if this is possible.

Have you been to the funfair in Grand Theft Auto V, and if so would you like to see more rides added or even GTA V DLC arrive with a massive funfair for a price?

You can find a couple of videos below this article showcasing gameplay of the GTA V funfair and roller coaster. These videos show the rides at night and in the daytime.
