GTA V PS4 silence broken with listing

Rockstar may be keeping extremely silent on the availability of GTA V on PS4 and Xbox One consoles, but it looks like something very interesting indeed has turned up online via Amazon’s infamous listings. The online retailer is notorious for revealing premature information and we could have something juicy for you to digest over the weekend.

With fans gloriously counting down to the September 17 release date, there is also a growing pressure on Rockstar to release information regarding next-gen platforms and indeed the most requested platform of all – PC, thanks to the amazing custom GTA mod scene.

This could be an elaborate fake, or it could be a major slip up by Amazon. The German version of the site which has leaked many unreleased games in the past, recently had GTA V listed for PS4. The listing has now been removed unsurprisingly, but not before a screenshot was captured below as seen over at OPM.

It obviously doesn’t take long to snap up a photoshopped PS4 box art, but do you think there’s a chance that this one could be real since it seems logical for GTA V to appear on PS4 in the future anyway?

Something to hide Rockstar?
Something to hide Rockstar?

The big question for us is whether Rockstar will just port over the game – or spend extra effort to ensure that the PS4 version is enhanced over PS3 in every way.

Either way, GTA V needs to arrive on PS4 as soon as possible – the wait is killing us. Let us know your expectations for a GTA V release on next-gen and PC. Do you think it will definitely happen in 2014?
