GTA V pre-order price for PC, PS4, XB1

As promised by Rockstar, the Grand Theft Auto V pre-order price is now live for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We published the GTA V new generation trailer yesterday and at the time Rockstar explained the pre-order links would go live within 24 hours.

If you visit the page you’ll see standard editions listed, this makes you think the new versions really will be enhanced a lot, and also the new platforms due to release in fall. You then click PS4, PC, or Xbox One and see a number of online retail stores to pre-order from.

For example, when we click GTA V PS4 we receive Rockstar Warehouse, GameStop,, and Best Buy for places to pre-order at similar prices. There will be a big difference in price once we get nearer the release date, which will be due to retail stores wanting to compete and this is especially true in the UK with supermarkets like Asda and Tesco.

Currently, GTA V on PS4 for pre-order is priced at $59.99 and this is exactly the same as PC/XB1, although the UK price is around £55. We would expect the PC price to be lower, but that’s yet to be seen.

Some GTA V PS3 and Xbox 360 owners want a discount – one Product Reviews reader said, “If my friends on PS4 get GTA V then I will get it, otherwise I really want to see a good discount considering I’ve already purchased the game on the PS3”. Would you like to see a discount offered for GTA V PS3/Xbox 360 owners upgrading? You will get to transfer your game save data between systems, but as for a discount we will need to wait a little longer for that information.
